A health challenge that will rock you for a day

Can you improve your health in just one day?



I would love to have as many people as possible take on this challenge with me.

There are just 5 simple changes to make to your day...either today or the next day.

Just 5.

Adhere to all and write about it in the comments section. That's all there is to this challenge.

I would love to hear about people's experiences.

I'm mostly interested to know how hard it is for someone to just drop everything and adapt these 5 simple changes for just 1 day.

Why not try the health challenge today?




Here are just 5 simple ways to improve your health TODAY.

1. Drink water!
*Shoot for somewhere between one-third to one-half of your body weight in ounces.
*Since water can contain environmental toxins, be sure to use as clean a source as possible. Use a filter on your home faucets.

2. Make an eating plan
*Plan out when and what you will eat.
*This doesn’t have to be a huge ordeal. It may consist of baking several chicken breasts and steaming vegetables.

3. Plan to eat 5-6 times, which equates to every 2-3 hours.
*This will naturally reduce your portion sizes and stimulate your metabolism.
*This coincides well with step 2, make an eating plan.

4. Eat 7-9 servings of fruits and vegetables
*If you’re eating 9 servings per day, there’s not much room for other, less healthy foods.
*Follow the “Clean 15” and “Dirty Dozen” guidelines.



5. Eat real, whole foods
*Look at the ingredients list of all the food you eat today. If there are any preservatives, dyes, colorings or flavours (even natural) then DON'T EAT IT.
*Also, don't eat any vegetable oils. Butter, coconut oil and olive oil are okay.
*The goal is to eat just whole, real and unprocessed foods.
*Why? Here are some very good reasons:
*Artificial sweeteners can cause people to eat more calories overall during the day.
*Artificial additives/colourings can contribute to symptoms of ADD/ADHD.
*MSG causes hyperstimulation of the nervous system, leading to headaches, anxiety and poor concentration.
*Hydrogenated and highly processed oils/fats cause inflammation.

Okay, time to put those 5 steps into action
Even if you are doing this for JUST ONE DAY.
