Almond face mask

Almonds are rich in protein and fibre; when applied on skin they can bring amazing results by making the skin naturally smooth and soft. Crushed almonds have an exfoliating action that gets rid of dead skin, and unlike sugar or salt - which might be used for the same purpose, almonds are gentle on the skin.

Honey brings additional benefits to this mask because it has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial compounds which brighten and lighten the complexion. The honey also helps the mask to ‘hug’ the skin. When used in combination with the yogurt, the honey cleanses the skin pores thoroughly.



Almond Face Mask


What you need
180ml Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon finely crushed almonds
2 teaspoons raw honey
2 teaspoons almond oil

Method
Mix all the ingredients into a smooth paste and apply the mixture on your skin.
Keep the mask on for 20 minutes.
Rinse it off with warm water.

You might want to use this mask once or twice per week to achieve better results.
