Berries have the antioxidant properties which help keep skin beautiful. They naturally kill free radicals, which can lead to wrinkled skin.
Free radicals are created from pollution, radiation, and cigarette smoke, as well as naturally by the body to combat viruses. Antioxidants kill free radicals; they are found in dark chocolate, dark berries and cruciferous vegetables. Eat and drink these antioxidant-rich foods and your skin will (literally) glow.
Handful each of:
100ml rice milk (or milk of your choice)
Peel the apples, pears and hull the strawberries.
Add the fruit to a blender.
Blitz for two minutes.
Pour half into a suitable receptacle (I like a big mason jar).
Pour in the rice milk.
Top up with the rest of the whipped smoothie and serve.
This makes a wonderful breakfast, or dessert. Happy drinking.
