Cinnamon Spiced Pear Porridge

For a warming and restorative morning meal you can't go past this Cinnamon Spiced Pear Porridge.

Perfect for those chilly winter mornings, the cinnamon infuses your kitchen with a most comforting aroma, and also provides an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory boost to fight the sniffles!

Ingredients
1/2 cup oats
1 small pear, chopped
2 teaspoons walnuts
1 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon flaxseed, ground
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground

Method
Throw oats, pear, walnuts and milk into a medium saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring consistently for 3-5 mins.
Stir through flaxseed and cinnamon until a smooth, fragrant porridge has formed.
