It's time to shed our winter skin, and one of the most effective and enjoyable ways to do so is with a DIY spring detox bath. A long hot soak will assist in drawing toxins out of the body and loosening any dry or dead skin; and preceding your bath with a dry skin brush will go a long way towards loosening that unwanted skin debris.

3/4 cup Epsom salts
3/4 cup sea salt
1 tablespoon dried ginger powder
10 - 15 drops essential oil - choose from lavender, rosemary, peppermint, patchouli, lemon or ylang ylang.
Add the salts and ginger to the bath as it is filling, and the essential oils only once your bath is ready. Light some candles and make the most of this time to yourself. Try to relax, soak for fifteen to twenty minutes, and end with a natural body scrub for best results. Try a homemade lime coconut scrub or a grapefruit and caffeine scrub, and finish off with a lukewarm shower.
