Effective two-ingredient brown rice scrub
I love making my own scrubs and getting creative with ingredients in the kitchen. I recently came up with this idea and the results have been fantastic.
My skin has never looked better; it is soft, smooth and all thanks to a couple of ingredients you probably have in your cupboard.
2 tablespoons brown rice
Add the rice to a pestle and mortar bowl.
Using the pestle, 'bash' the rice. I tend to cover the rest of the mortar with my hand, so the precious ground rice doesn't fly about.
After about 2 minutes you'll have brilliantly ground rice.
Squeeze the lemon juice into a ramekin/small bowl and pour in the ground rice.
Voila, you have an effective, naturally exfoliating scrub, at a fraction of the cost of the products in a store, and you know exactly what's in it.
What I love about this is that it only requires two ingredients, but the potency of lemon juice and the abrasive level of the rice makes it a super scrub.
You can use this on your face or body, it is gentle for your face, but at the same time, it exfoliates your skin really well.
