Energy goes where your attention flows, so learn to appreciate and focus on the all the things you do have, rather than focusing on lack and poverty. The more you can cultivate an attitude of gratitude, the more you raise your vibration and help draw abundance, happiness and joy to yourself.
Start a gratitude journal
Before you go to sleep each night, run through all the things you are grateful for - the list will get longer and longer the more you practice, and you'll start to feel wonderful about the many blessings in life.
As you go about your day, get into the habit of being thankful for things as they occur. For example, thank you for this delicious meal, thank you for this gorgeous weather, thank you for a clear run of traffic, thank you for this comfortable bed, thank you for the love and support of family and friends etc. You get the picture.
You'll soon realise precisely how much you actually have to be thankful for, and you'll naturally feel more positive about yourself and your life.
