There are some natural home remedies which will help get rid of dark circles around the eyes and brighten up the skin:

Rose water and cucumber juice can be applied daily around the eyes. Leave it for around 15-20 minutes before rinsing, to get a soothing effect and to minimise the dark patches.

Lemon juice helps to remove blemishes and the dark spots. Prepare a paste of lemon juice, milk, gram flour and turmeric powder and apply it around the eyes, wash it with warm water after 10-15 minutes.

Crushed mint or tea bags dipped in cold water, kept on the eyes for 15-20 minutes, help reducing the black areas around the eyes.

In addition to the remedies mentioned above, it is really important to have a proper nutritional diet. The diet should be rich in vitamins, minerals and iron. We must ensure to eat a good amount of fruits and vegetable and keep ourselves hydrated which will help keep our skin healthy and glowing.
