Juice and zest of 3 small limes (or 2 large)
1 cup extra virgin coconut oil
A mere three ingredients
Whisk together the oil with the lime juice and zest in a small bowl.
Whisked coconut oil and lime
In a larger bowl, add the Epsom salts then pour in the liquid mix and combine well.
Transfer to a storage jar/container, and store in the fridge between use.
This homemade lime coconut body is so easy to make, uses simple ingredients, and you can feel good about using it knowing it is completely chemical free.

This sounds divine!
My coconut oil is solid and I know you're not supposed to melt it in the microwave..... how would you recommend getting it liquid ready to whip with the lime?
If it's entirely solid I melt it very gently in a saucepan. The other way I've done it before was to place the jar of coconut oil in a glass or mug of hot water - but it was only semi-solid that time.
Thank you! I shall give it a go :)
