We've all had them: spots. They can appear overnight and no matter what you do, they never seem to go away when you need them to.
Instead of caking yourself in makeup I've devised a powerful, but 100% natural spot-banishing ointment, which clarifies and gets rid of the spot overnight.
I tried this product on myself twice, and it worked each time. I had woken with a perfectly clear face, but once I'd showered I noticed a horrible spot. I was seeing my boyfriend the following day, and after a two-week break due to work commitments, I wanted to look my best. Thus, I got out my tools and whipped up a spot-killing treatment, which worked on the congested area, and it was gone the next morning.
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon bentonite clay (available from health stores)
1/2 teaspoon neem oil (can substitute with teatree oil if you don't have neem)

Required ingredients
Squeeze the juice and pulp from half of the fruits into a bowl.
Mix together to form a smooth paste.
Garnish with three mint leaves - this is not a necessary step but it reduces the rather pungent smell of neem oil.
Keep in the fridge for freshness - the cold temperature will reduce redness too.
Using clean hands, take your index finger and dip into the mixture. Apply a penny-sized amount to the offending area until dry.
Fruit oils are both moisturising and cleansing at the same time, so the oils in the lemon and lime will clean the dirt and grease from the spot without drying out the surrounding skin.
