Do you struggle with procrastination? If you are like the majority of people, the answer is probably yes!

We all find that we put off doing some activities. Whether they are things we find difficult, boring, we don’t like or ironically contribute to our success.

Procrastination can make us feel frustrated and demotivated. It can send us into a spiral of inaction and negativity which can result in us not achieving our goals within the timeframe, or at all. It negatively effects our self esteem and impacts our productivity at work.

Make your bed
Procrastination... can reduce productivity at work

There is one thing that you can do to kick start your day. Make your bed!

Curious as how this simple everyday task can help?

If you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a sense of achievement and it will motivate you to do another task, then another and another. By the end of the day that first task completed will have turned into many tasks completed. This will also make you feel good about yourself.

Make your bed
Task 1 done!

If you make your bed over scrolling through your Facebook, Instagram of LinkedIn accounts the moment you wake, your first task is done successfully. Imagine what you can achieve for the rest of rest of the day!
