Lemon and Raw Sugar Scrub

This zesty scrub is chemical free and gives you smooth feeling skin.

Lemons are high in vitamin C and citric acid, potent antioxidants, that will brighten and clear the skin. The coconut oil will hydrate your skin and make it feel soft.

This scrub is quick to prepare, smells amazing, and makes a great gift.

Uses and benefits:
The citric acid in lemon and sugar exfoliates and removes dead skin.
Treats dandruff naturally - massage into the scalp, leave for 1/2 hour (up to overnight) and wash out with shampoo.
Anti-ageing characteristics - L-ascorbic acid in vitamin C is a potent antioxidant and anti-ageing ingredient.
Acne prone skin - lemon removes excess oil secretions and bacteria that cause pimples.
Coconut oil moisturisers and softens the skin.
Vitamin C and citric acid can reduces pigmentation in the form of melasma (light/dark brown blotches and patches) or freckles.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 2 1/2 cups

This scrub will make you skin silky smooth and smells great


Ingredients
2 3/4 cups raw sugar
1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
1 lemon, finely zested and juiced

Method
Put 2 1/2 cups of raw sugar, coconut oil, lemon zest and juice in a bowl and stir to combine.
Gradually add more sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the mixture reaches the desired consistency and is not too wet.

Combine the ingredients and addmore sugar until desired consistency reached


Spoon into jars and store in the fridge between use.
