Are you a natural? Do you believe in the natural way of things? Well more and more people are joining you in your thinking; in regards to our health, the way we eat, the way we deal with things, the way we heal ourselves.

Natural medicine and treatments have been around since the beginning of mankind. Hippocrates, the ancient Greek was one of the first to introduce natural therapies.

End your pain!

In 1901 the first American School of Naturopathy was opened in New York city. Up until the 1930's all was going well with twenty five states licensing practitioners. Then with the introduction of penicillin things began to change and people moved away from the natural approach of health care towards pharmaceuticals.

The 1970's saw a resurgence of the natural ways and natural therapies of all mediums began gaining momentum.

May the healing energies be with you!

The naturopath that I see is Nardia Renney.

Nardia's mom took her to a naturopath when she was younger. She was amazed at all the potions, vitamins and minerals and the impact it had on herself and her family.

Free yourself and your spirit with naturopathy!

According to Nardia, "the moment I decided to become a naturopath was instant. I had just moved to Brisbane. I was doing work in a florist shop and thought I needed to see a career adviser or I could end up doing casual work forever. I was in her waiting room and next to me was the big book with all the careers in it, so I decided to open it to my dream career. And I did. I opened it up to naturopathy".

Nardia says "when I read it I got goose bumps and that was it". Nardia knew she had found her calling, she has a natural gift.

Nardia used her intuition to find her path. She uses this same gift to help clients with whatever is ailing them, be it physical or emotional, the two are closely tied together.

She takes all her skills, listens, senses and addresses the issues to help determine what it might be that has you under the weather.

Physical ailments like stomach or digestive problems, skeletal, headaches or pains can be helped. It can be determined why you are angry, sad, exhausted or why your emotions are tied in knots. Maybe you can open up to your own intuition.

With her Bachelor of Health Science Naturopathy degree, Nardia says "I have been a naturopath for twelve years and loved every minute of it, I have put my own twist on it though, I help people through their issues and use natural medicines to help".

Revel in the lightness of being when you heal!

As a mum and preparing to have her second baby in February she is now working part time on Thursdays and by phone appointments on Friday only. Nardia can be found at 89 Kent St., Woolowin. You can email her at nardia@nardiarenney.com or call 0414 265 599.

Find the natural that works for you and listen to it. It's worth your efforts for a happy healed life if you want to either heal yourself or help others.
