As winter well and truly sets in, it's important that we eat as befits the weather, and nourish our bodies with warming, seasonal foods. Here are some of our favourite winter breakfast warmers to get you started.

Oats are incredibly nourishing and have numerous documented health benefits; they can provide a quick and nutritious start to your day.

Crunchy Nut and Pear Porridge

One of my absolute favourite starts to a cold day is Buckwheat Pancakes

And this list wouldn't be complete without mentioning one of our favourite and most tasty cooked breakfasts - it's Jamie Oliver's Baked Eggs in Popped Beans. Best cooked on the weekend when you have a little more time to dedicate to a nutrient dense hot breakfast.
