Recent studies have even shown that consuming turmeric can prevent cancer, leading to high sales of turmeric pills, turmeric oil, turmeric powder etc.This is a simple turmeric pickle recipe you can make at home from fresh turmeric that can be stored in the fridge for one week.
100 grams fresh turmeric (can be bought at any asian grocery store)
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vinegar
Wash and scrape the skin off the turmeric just like you would do for ginger.
