Chlorella, a green fresh water algae, has recently enjoyed a surge of attention thanks to its protein, fat, vitamin, mineral, fibre and chlorophyll content.

Like spirulina, it is currently recognised as one of the most nutritionally dense foods in the world.

Chlorella is excellent at detoxing the body and repairing damage to cells and nerve tissue. It has also shown to boost immunity and promote weight management.

Be careful when choosing your chlorella powder or tablets, as quality can significantly vary. Opt for an organic, cracked-cell variety where possible.
