Itís hard to imagine cooking or eating without the staple sprinkle of pepper and salt, however, Western diets tend to particularly over indulge on salt, creating adverse effects on our health.

By simply reversing the emphasis, you could reap the benefits of improved digestion, and intestinal health (and more!) while minimising your intake of a mineral which in excess, can lead to raised blood pressure and risk of stroke.
So next time you tuck in, treat yourself to an extra pinch of pepper and a little less (or none at all) salt. Your body and mind will thank you for it!
