Have you ever heard the saying "laughter is the best medicine"?

On the physical side, laughter lowers stress hormones, decreases pain, relaxes your muscles and burns calories.

On the mental side, laughter brings joy, improves self-esteem and helps overcome anger.

LOL

As a whole, laughter strengthens relationships, attracts us to others, reduces loneliness and helps stop conflict.

How can one seek out laughter?

Watch a funny YouTube video*
Share a funny story*
Do something silly*
Spend moments with funny people*
Smile at people and see the effect on them*

Laughter does not cost a penny and can make you look at things in a more joyful and healthy perspective.
