Become aware of when you put yourself down to others; catch yourself when you're unkind to yourself mentally and consciously turn that thought around by practising positive self talk.
For example, if you're telling yourself you can't do something, mentally delete that thought and tell yourself you can do anything you put your mind to. Or if you do something silly or clumsy, instead of cursing yourself as an idiot, laugh at yourself .good naturedly.
Self kindness heals. Make time for self-care, and for things that feed your soul and bring you joy; you will quickly find life more pleasant, and everyone around you will benefit and be inspired.
