We spend roughly a third of our life in bed, so it is actually really worth taking the time to look after your den.

Here are five quick tips to get you started!

Flip and rotate your mattress seasonally to prevent uneven wear and damage.

If your mattress allows, vacuum every month at a low suction to rid of dust and keep clean and fresh.

Use a mattress protector to stop spills and moisture from being absorbed.

Wash sheets and pillow cases weekly, and best at a high temperature.

Keep temperatures cooler in the bedroom to stop mold and mites.
