You've polished off the last of the peanut butter/coconut oil/strawberry jam, and are about to send the jar to the recycling bin. But why not make a unique glass cup using the jar instead?

Both an excellent way to reuse materials as well as adding a fun hipster-vibe to your kitchen, recycling jars in this way is a simple creative idea to consider.

Additionally, instead of disposing with the steel cap, you could drill a hole through to allow the jar to remain sealed and be enjoyed with a straw - great for kids and adults alike!
