If you think you might be interested in trying the increasingly popular paleo diet, here's what you need to consider: foods allowed are those that one could theoretically hunt or gather.

CAN EAT BASICS
Grass fed lean meat
Seafood
Fresh fruit and vegetables
Nuts and seeds
Eggs
Natural fats and oils

CAN'T EAT BASICS
Dairy
Grains and cereals
Legumes
Potatoes
Processed and refined sugars
Refined oils

If these guidelines appeal to you, consider doing some further research into the diet before undertaking it, or dine out at one of the new paleo cafes in your city.
