Natural Cures & Prevention
Whether you view your monthly cycle as a blessing or a curse, the pain and discomfort often experienced can affect our lives to varying degrees.
A simple Ayurvedic remedy is to make a paste using asafoetida powder and water, massage into the abdomen and apply a hot water bottle. Wash the paste off after twenty minutes.
Asafoetida can purchased online or at an Indian grocery story, and can also be used in cooking.
