Natural stone tiles are attractive and durable but are not so easy to maintain, especially in bathrooms where mould and mildew build up easily.

Besides being dangerous for health, most chemicals used to clean bathroom tiles are expensive and not so eco-friendly.

Here is a simple trick which will leave your tile joints clean and free from moulds:

Make a thick paste of bicarbonate soda mixed with water, apply with a toothbrush, leave for five minutes then scrub with the toothbrush.
