Mostly affecting women, constipation is both irritating and painful and may be caused by low dietary fiber intake.
You can help prevent constipation by including these seeds in your diet. Add them to your morning cereal, smoothie, or mix them up in your salads.
Grind together a mixture of 2-3 sunflower seeds, 1 teaspoon each of flax and sesame seeds and a few almonds into a fine powder and have one tablespoon everyday. Or you can simply buy some LSA (ground linseed/flax, sunflower seeds and almonds) from your local grocer.
Constipation can also be prevented by increasing your water intake and doing regular exercise.
