School anxiety, peer pressure and family conflicts are some of the contributing factors that lead to stress in children, and if left untreated, will have lasting consequences on their health and wellbeing.

Recent studies suggest that helping your child connect with the natural environment can act as a buffer from stress.

So, next time you sense the pressure building inside your child, take him for a walk in the bush or park, or on the beach. Better still, face his working desk towards a window with a green outlook, or place some potted plants on his bedroom window sills.
