Casseroles are so quick and easy to prepare and everyone loves them - but they can be a health trap. Here's how to make them healthier.
1) Meat - use half as much and trim the fat. Worried about losing flavour? Read on!
2) Vegies - throw in huge servings of whatever vegies your family loves and a tin of tomatoes.
3) Tinned lentils - extra fibre, protein and yumminess.
4) Flavour - garlic, herbs and a small glug of quality red wine.
5) Sides - a portion of quinoa instead of mashed potato. I like tri-colour quinoa - and so do my kids!
