Some days, regardless of how much we would like to, it isn't physically possible to fit everything in.

So if it comes down to getting a night of quality sleep, or cramming in some exercise, health professionals recommend you go for sleep.

Adults should be aiming for 7-9 hours sleep per night, so if your AM training session jeopardises this, give it a miss and try not to feel too guilty!

The negative effects of too little sleep outweigh the impact of missing one workout.
