It may seem a like a nonsensical idea, but research has shown that even artificially smiling or laughing can actually lift your mood.
If pulling funny faces or forcing yourself to laugh doesnít appeal to you, try watching 10 minutes of a funny video, or have a chat with a naturally amusing person. For the more adventurous, try laughing yoga or join a laughter club!
