Reducing cortisol production to aid weight loss

Cortisol is a hormone essential for many bodily functions. During times of physical, emotional or mental stress however, the hormone can be secreted excessively, and its normal release patterns disturbed. This in turn can lead to appetite stimulation and weight gain.


The cortisol can also cause the new weight to be deposited in the belly or abdominal region which can be detrimental to health and increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. Have you ever been asked if you are pregnant and you are not pregnant?

Getting rid of all fear, stress and anxiety is just not an option that we have, so here are a few tips on how to reduce or decrease.

There is even a thing known as "laugh therapy"!

This is a no-brainer.

Do something good for someone else
Much research has been done on the health benefits associated with service and helping others.

Do something creative

Practice yoga or walk
This is obvious as exercise is always good.

This stomps out loneliness and brings in love! Meaningful connections are essential to health and wellbeing.
