Secret to losing belly fat

It's well known that a diet high in fresh fruit and vegetables has numerous health benefits, but there is one particular little fruit that has bigger potential than we knew.

A recent study by the University of Michigan Cardiovascular Centre suggests that the humble blueberry can assist in losing belly fat. It further suggests that regular intake of blueberries may positively affect genes related to glucose uptake, and fat burning and storage. And this is on top of the myriad of health benefits already known, including a high antioxidant count (neutralises the free radicals which lead to chronic disease), positive influence on cardiovascular, brain and nervous system health, low fat count, and ability to fight urinary tract infections.

Studies also show that frozen blueberries retain their high antioxidant count, and that organically grown blueberries may have a higher antioxidant content than traditionally grown.

Keep in mind, no amount of blueberries in the world will help you lose fat without a healthy, balanced diet and lifestyle.
