I've heard of salt and milk softening your skin, but never mint. Intrigued by a recommendation by a friend I thought I'd give the homemade scrub a go.
My friend's mother owns a natural health and beauty store, and always passes down nuggets of advice in relation to natural ingredients and skincare. Here's how to whip up a skin-softening scrub, which will leave your skin incredibly smooth.
Ingredients
5 tablespoons of sea salt
5 tablespoons of whole milk
3 sprigs of fresh mint leaves

Required ingredients
Method
Pour the salt into a ramekin.
Bash the mint up in a pestle and mortar.
Add the milk and mint to the ramekin.
Mix together using your hands and use straight away.
I keep this in the bathroom and it doesn't alter the make-up of the scrub, but I advise using it within one week.
I advise using whole fat cow's milk (raw and organic is even better if you can get it) in this scrub because cow's milk has the highest content of protein, and the natural cream is great at softening skin.
