With a delicious crunchy texture and subtle, nutty flavour, walnuts are a smart and desirable addition to any meal or diet.

Health benefits
Rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, vital to healthy brain and nervous system function.
Good source of fibre, keeping us feeling full for longer.
Good source of copper, required to eliminate free radicals from the body.
Good source of manganese, needed to combat infection.
Good source of biotin, naturally balancing blood sugar levels.

How to enjoy
Simply grab a handful for a snack on the go.
Enjoy sprinkled over porridge, granola or muesli.
Roughly chop and add to cake, biscuit, slice or energy ball batters.
Toss through veggie slaws or pasta salads.
Blend with fresh herbs, garlic and olive oil for a homemade pesto.

With their high fat content, walnuts are best stored in an airtight container in the fridge (for up to 6 months), or freezer (for up to a year).
