Antioxidant super smoothie

Delightfully refreshing, this smoothie is packed full of antioxidants which are vital to health and wellbeing, and assist in preventing the onset of chronic disease. A single kiwi fruit contains more vitamin C than an orange, and studies have shown that eating kiwi fruit results in the highest absorption and metabolism of antioxidants.



Ingredients
  • 1 kiwi fruit peeled
  • a 1cm thick cut round of pineapple
  • 1/2 cup green tea cooled
  • 1 teaspoon dark chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup coconut water or coconut milk



  • Method
  • Soak the chia seeds in the coconut water for twenty to thirty minutes (optional - see footnote).
  • Add all ingredients to the blender and mix until a smooth consistency is reached.



  • Serve and enjoy.
