It is important to find an exfoliation product that works without damaging your skin. Find one with smooth, round granules rather than jagged, rough particles to avoid injuring your skin.
When using the scrub be gentle, use a light touch to get rid of the dead skin cells. A light touch is all you need, any more than that and you could irritate your skin.

What do I use?
I started using sugar and lemon scrubs with coconut oil and really loved the feel of my skin. Over time I started to find that my skin was oily afterwards. I didn’t like the feel so started looking at alternatives.
I wanted a scrub that would suit my sensitive skin (I am allergic to most products), was oil and animal cruelty free and did not contain microbeads.
I now use the Rodan and Fields Microdermabrasion Paste. It combine salt and sugar in a high-glide formula with vitamin A and E. It buffs off old cells to improve skin tone and texture, my skin has never looked this good. Skin looks brighter after the first use and with regular exfoliation, you can help maintain that glow. It is oil free so works with sensitive and acne-prone skin.
