The following dates are in the Australian Health Calendar for December 2019:
1 December - World Aids Day. Raises awareness of the pandemic caused by the spread of HIV.

1 - 31 December - Decembeard Australia. Encourage men to grow a beard, raise funds and help beat bowel cancer. Register here https://www.decembeard.org.au Australia has one of the highest rates of bowel cancer in the world. It is a preventable form of cancer if found early. Free screening is offered for all Australians over the age of 50.

3 December - Day of Persons with Disabilities. This year's theme is "The Future is Accessible".

5 December - Volunteers Day. Celebrates the difference volunteers make.
