Homemade Nourishing Face Mask Recipe
Sometimes the most beneficial and economical products for our skin can be found in our fridge or pantry.
Choosing the right skin care products to buy these days can be tricky, both financially and health-wise, particularly considering the array of
harmful chemicals in many products on the market. This simple three ingredient face mask is cheaper than chips to make, and will leave your skin feeling fresh, soft and silky smooth. Each of these three ingredients contain nutrients vital to skin health, and the mask is particularly suited to dry skin.
Ingredients
Quarter teaspoon honey
Quarter teaspoon natural yoghurt
Method
Mix together the ingredients to form a smooth paste.
Wash your face with warm to hot water to open the pores.
Apply the paste to your face and neck liberally, and massage gently into your skin.
Lie down and relax for ten minutes.
Wash off the bulk of the paste with tepid water, leaving the layer of oil that you feel and gently pat dry your face.
Tips
If you don't have ghee use almond or jojoba oil.
This is a great one to do before bed, leaving that layer of nourishing oil to soak into the skin while you sleep, and you'll wake with skin that feels five years younger!
