  • Simply lighting a candle with your meal or as you arrive home.

  • Lingering over a warm cup of tea or freshly brewed coffee.

  • Preparing a slow-cooked homemade meal.

  • Make a bowl of stove-cooked porridge. Top with cinnamon and fresh berries for extra hygge!

  • Dress yourself in layers of warm clothing, or snuggle up with a thick blanket at home.

  • Sitting down for a family meal, free of any distractions.

  • Treat yourself to a visit to your local bakery.

  • Indulge in a luxurious soak in the bath. Add epsom salts to encourage muscle relaxation.

  • Organise a picnic with friends, or celebrate a holiday with a street party.

  • Jump on your bike and go for a leisurely ride. (Fun fact: Copenhagen boasts more bikes than people!)

  • Find a comfy spot in your favourite armchair and read a good book in silence.
