Minimalism Reuse
Minimalism is one of the latest trends in health and lifestyle, offering a
richer life lived with
'less'. It's gaining
widespread attention for it's
slower, more
conscious and
connected way of living in our busy, always-available 21st century.
Similar to the
Zero Waste movement, minimalism encourages us to think creatively about
reusing and
recycling.
Here are some
simple,
every day tips to get you started:

Invest in a refillable water bottle and/or coffee mug instead of buying plastic/polystyrene daily.
Bring your own cutlery/straws to work or school instead of reaching for the disposables on hand.
Reuse plastic shopping bags at supermarkets or turn into bin liners.
Use machine washable napkins and handkerchiefs instead of one-use tissues and paper towels.
Opt for paperless bills or use the backs of papers/letters as scrap paper.

Wash food jars and put to work as food storage containers or plant pots.
Cut up old fabrics or t-shirts and use as cleaning rags.
Set aside your food scraps to compost in the garden.
